On September 18, the Clinic hosted a workshop and resource fair on strategies for paying for college, both for high school students preparing for first time applications and returning students. Thank you to all who were able to join us – especially our wonderful exhibitors, Financial Planning Association of New York (who also presented a wonderful mini-workshop on 529 accounts), Bed Stuy RestorationCollege and Community FellowshipCUNY Welcome Center, TD Bank, and Year Up!

Change Machine Comes to Life: Introducing SHARE Live!


We are bringing Change Machine alive with a brand new series of SHARE Live networking events, held in multiple locations across the country over the next year. Build real-life connections with coaches and practitioners who are working towards our shared mission at a fun, stress-free happy hour. It was great to see our Dallas friends at the first ever SHARE Live event last week!

  • SHARE Live DallasAssistant Director of Partnership Management, Megan Kursik, joined Clinic partner Credit Builders Alliance (CBA) in Washington, DC, for the Building CAPACD Convention.
  • Jessica Wise, Assistant Director of Capacity Building, flew to Las Vegas for the UnidosUS Workforce Development Forum.
  • In Dallas, Assistant Director of Capacity Building, Jared Marling, and Implementation Lead, Alyssa Keil, joined WiNGS Dallas for the third Coaching Huddle. That night, they hosted the first ever SHARE Live happy hour and networking event for practitioners in the Dallas area!
