Finance and Operations Manager
Finance and Operations Manager, Terry Ferreira, joined the Clinic in October 2015. Her primary responsibilities are managing the day-to-day finances and budgets related to grants and programs, with a bit of HR, IT and administrative support when needed.
Terry has a vibrant background in nonprofit finance, budget management, and operations, having always been drawn to the mission aspect of the work.
Previous roles include Operations Manager at Third Wave Foundation, where she got her first taste of audit season at a nonprofit and the art of taking passionate work and harnessing it into financial reports;Director of Volunteers at Angel’s Gate Animal Hospice and Rehabilitation Center, which featured everything from walking dogs in wheelchairs to assisting with grant writing;and Cataloger at a few libraries across Long Island, where her obsessive attention to detail was nurtured.
Terry holds a BA in Economics from Hunter College. Outside of the office, she enjoys taking advantage of all the activities that NYC has to offer with her poodle/bichon, Kimberly, strapped into a baby bjorn.
