Manager of Capacity Building
Racquel Forrester joined the Clinic in November 2016 as the Manager of Capacity Building. In this role, she manages relationships with partnering agencies and establishes the field expertise nationally by facilitating trainings and organizational development sessions.
Prior to this position, Racquel managed workforce an community development programs at an Economic Development agency in Brooklyn.
She was first introduced to the Clinic when she was accepted as a Financial Fellow from 2012-2013 and was the winner of The Social Innovation Plan competition.
Racquel holds a Masters in Urban Planning from CUNY-Hunter College with a focus on Economic Development and a BA from Rutgers University. She was a contributing author to the book Prospects of Resilience – Insights from New York City’s Jamaica Bay.
A native New Yorker, Racquel lives in a small town tucked away in the outskirts of Brooklyn – Canarsie.
