Raquel Paulino

Raquel Paulino joined The Financial Clinic in February 2017 as a Program Associate for the Capacity Building team.

Her primary role is to provide programmatic and administrative support to the Capacity Building team in its three lines of work: training, technical support and partnership management.

Raquel comes from a direct service and advocacy background in the domestic violence field. In her previous position, she worked as the Family Law Project Assistant at Sanctuary for Families located out of the Brooklyn Family Justice Center.

She has also held various internships including the Mayor’s Office to Combat Domestic Violence, Safe Horizon’s Bronx Community Center and the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.

Raquel graduated from Smith College in 2012, where she studied Government and Italian Studies. She is also certified in Mental Health First Aid through the National Council of Behavioral Health.

Raquel was born in Venezuela to Dominican parents and is fluent in Italian after spending her junior year in Florence, Italy.
