Assistant Director of Fintech Partnerships
Megan joined The Financial Clinic as the Assistant Director of Fintech Partnerships in December of 2019.
In this role, she leads the Financial Clinic’s efforts to build an online Marketplace of financial providers and services to increase access to these services and create greater opportunities for financial inclusion.
Prior to this role, she was working as an independent consultant providing capacity building and training to nonprofits around the country. From 2015 to 2018, she held a variety of roles at Prosperity Now designing and delivering tailored technical assistance to organizations and sector leaders to build their capacity to integrate financial capability services into their existing programs and services.
Before her work at Prosperity Now, Megan worked in youth employment and economic success, first at the International Youth Foundation and then at Points of Light where she helped create and launch ServiceWorks, the nation’s largest corporate-funded AmeriCorps VISTA program. Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Georgia and a Master of Public and Nonprofit Management and Policy from New York University.
A native Atlantan, Megan recently returned to Georgia after almost a decade in Washington, DC. She currently lives in Athens, GA – land of college football, grits and R.E.M. – where she spends her free time spoiling her dog and pretending to garden.
