Manager of Service Delivery
With nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services arena, both for-profit and nonprofit, Devin excitedly joined the Clinic in 2019 as an Ecosystem Project Manager, and is now a Manager of Service Delivery. In this role, Devin is able to fulfill his greatest passion, increasing financial capabilities for the working poor, by strategically partnering with high-performance social service organizations to embed and increase financial coaching skills, organizational capacity, and policy advocacy.
Devin’s education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration as well as a Master’s degree in Marketing. Additionally, Devin has studied extensively and attained certificates in the areas of Behavioral Economics, and Inbound, Email, and Social Media Marketing.
Throughout his professional career, Devin has been consistently engaged in civic and volunteer activities to improve his community. These activities include local (North Carolina) poverty alleviation initiatives, local office election management, founding and leadership of the Black Chamber of Commerce (Durham, NC), Board Member – Greater Durham Boys and Girls Club, Committee Member – Study on Local Transit, Community Needs Committee Member – United Way of the Greater Triangle; volunteer at The Emily K. Life Center and D3 Community Outreach.
Outside of work, Devin’s greatest pleasure is enjoying family game nights with his wife and daughter, and nieces and nephews. Devin also enjoys roaming the streets, searching for new and interesting places and things to document via photography.
