Follow the instructions on the form explicitly, carefully following the reference letter guidelines, and the word count guideline for the essay question.


General Guidelines

Please create PDFs of your resume and unofficial transcript prior to starting the online application. In order to match your transcript and resume to the rest of your application, be sure to carefully title each PDF as follows:

  • Jen Smith’s Resume will be titled: “2013 FELLOW_Smith_Jen_Resume.pdf”
  • Jen Smith’s Transcript will be titled: “2013 FELLOW_Smith_Jen_Transcript.pdf”

You must have two recommendations–one academic and one professional–sent directly to The Financial Clinic:

  • Letters must be sent directly from the reference.
  • If e-mailed (preferred), send to:

Instruct references to use the following format for both the subject line of the e-mail and the title of the .pdf document:

  • ACADEMIC: “2013FELLOW_ACADEMIC_Last Name_First Name”.
